Camping

There are different camping areas throughout the Slocan area for the festival weekend. Look for signs throughout the village.  Many are first come, first served.  We are still looking for residents in the Slocan area who would consider renting their homes or offering tenting sites during the festival weekend. Tenting sites would need access to bathroom, outhouse, or porta potty. Please contact us.

1.  Springer Creek Campground & Springer Creek Overflow Campground
This beautiful campground is located within walking / biking distance of the festival and there are tenting sites as well as RV sites.  There is a link to campground info via www.slocancity.com or you can email springr@telus.net  or phone  250-355-2266.    There are still plenty of sites available in the Springer Creek Overflow Campground.

2.  Outriders Campground.

Lots of sites AVAILABLE.  First come first served.  Beautiful area in town.  Water, outhouse provided.  Directions will be well signed in the village. 1km to festival site.  Bring your bike!  No fires.  $15 per car per night (includes 2 people – $5 person extra) $25 RV lots (no hook up – includes 2 people $5 extra per person)  Beautiful area in town.  Opens at 9 am Friday July 14 until noon Monday July 17th.

3.  White Pines Dojo 
1/2 mile outside of Slocan, up Martens Rd., this beautiful off grid quiet setting offers rustic campsites.  There is a short walking/biking trail from the dojo to Slocan City and the festival. Otherwise a 5-minute car ride. For more info: www.whitepinesdojo.com or call 355-0009

5. Karibu Park Cottages and Campground
Located in the hamlet of Winlaw (15 min south of Slocan), on the Slocan River. They have fully equipped housekeeping cottages at reasonable prices, a campground with big, private sites, and a tipi.  http://www.karibupark.com

Lemon Creek Lodge  – 10 km south of the festival, off the highway and in the woods, is the lovely Lemon Creek Lodge, featuring excellent food, rooms, cabins and tenting. http://www.lemoncreeklodge.com
